On 19.05.2018 in Danovo school - Perushtitsa was held a family meeting of heirs of Dimitar Malinchev.

Dimitar Malinchev is a great son of Bulgaria, an uncompromising revolutionary and participant in the April Uprising in 1876. Born in small Perushtitsa in the distant 1838 in the poor family of Malin and Velika Bakovi. From an early age he entered the newly opened school "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" in Perushtitsa with the gifted teacher Hristo G. Danov. He grew up together with the eldest sons of Perushtitsa - Petar Bonev, Spas Ginov and the Tilevi brothers. During the bloody days of 1876, Dimitar Malinchev was positioned on the western side of the village, which he defended heroically from the invasions of the Ustin Turks - bashibozuzi. On April 30, 1876, when the hostilities were transferred near the church "St. Archangel Michael" Dimitar Malinchev together with a dozen other people defended the fountain near the church. It was there, in his quest to preserve the water so necessary for the physical survival of the rebels, that Perushtitsa's eldest son died. Today he is revered along with Spas Ginov, Kocho Chestimenski, Petar Bonev, Kalofer Spasov, Father Petar Velchev and many other prominent Peruvian revolutionaries - heroes who gave their tribute to the struggle for the freedom of the fatherland.
