The artist Vihra Grigorova was born in the city of Plovdiv in 1953.
In 1976 he graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, majoring in mural painting, in the class of Prof. Mito Ganovski.
National expert in Bulgarian fine arts at the Ministry of Culture.
He has a number of realized monumental works, independently and in co-authorship, in the techniques of dry fresco, sgraffito and mosaic. She has also worked in the field of book illustration and layout.
Vihra Grigorova actively participates in the artistic life of Plovdiv, in the exhibitions of the Society of Plovdiv Artists, as well as in many plein airs and symposiums in the country and abroad - Russia, Hungary, Macedonia. She has had 25 solo exhibitions in Plovdiv and other cities. For his jubilee exhibition Landscape is Alive in 2013 he received the Plovdiv Award for achievements in the field of fine arts.
She mainly paints a landscape, the affinity for which she inherited from her father Petar Grigorov, one of the great names in Bulgarian landscape painting from the second half of the twentieth century. Her works are an expression of admiration for the greatness of nature. She is inspired by the mountains, the sea and Thrace, the morning and the sunset, the change of seasons, the lights and the shadows, the atmosphere and the mood.
Her works are in many Bulgarian galleries, as well as in private collections at home and abroad.
