The national scientific conference on "With their help the Bulgarians were free" (Bulgarian weapons from antiquity, the Middle Ages and modern times) will be held at IM Perushtitsa, Danovo school, on 13 and 14 November 2020.

11.30 am Official presentation of the accompanying exhibition "Archival photos from the Balkan Wars" by Major General Nonka Matova
13.30 - 14.30 Greeting by Mrs. Maria Valkanova, Mayor of Perushtitsa Municipality.
Opening of the conference and report on "Superweapons of Medieval Bulgaria" by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Veselina Vachkova, Director of IM Perushtitsa. Discussion on the topic.
2.30 pm - 3.30 pm Report with a multimedia presentation on the topic “Purchase and delivery of Madsen light machine guns for the Bulgarian army in 1914” by Simeon Tsvetkov, curator in RIM - Veliko Tarnovo. Discussion on the topic.
16.00 - 17.00 Report with a multimedia presentation on the topic "The weapon of the Bulgarian militia" by Stoyan Stoyanov, curator at IM Perushtitsa. Discussion on the topic.
17.00 - 18.00 Report on the topic "Weapons in the fund of the Thracian Society" Voyvoda Rusi Slavov "Plovdiv" with authors Major General Eng. Nonka Matova and Mag. Kresa Stoyanova.
